We're glad you asked. We are doing our part to simplify the process, hoping to make things clear and concise for you. We've been making concrete roof tiles for over 25 years and have installed 100,000+ roofs in Florida. We've done this thing a time or two. Introduce Yourself to Roofing Materials on the Market
To begin, get an idea of what type of roofing material you are looking for. Consider the style of your home and colors you like, as well as things that are important in your decision making process, perhaps cost or eco-friendliness. Browse websites and magazines for inspiration images, and begin learning about the different products on the market. Here are links to several pages on our website to get started.
Understand Key Roofing Terms
Learn several basic roofing terms to understand the elements that go into purchasing and installing a new roof.
Pitch
is the angle of a roof from the horizontal. The average pitch on a home is 4/12, meaning that for every 4" in vertical rise, there are 12" in horizontal distance covered.Trim Tiles
are the pieces that go on the hips, ridges, and edges of your roof.Click here to see several images of trim.
Underlayments
are materials used beneath the outer, aesthetic material on the roof. Underlayments provide an impermeable membrane to keep water from penetrating the roof deck.Square
is the unit of measurement of product it takes to cover 100 square feet on a roof. The average house is 40 squares. When it comes to cost, a $5, $10 or even $30 difference in the price of roofing material per square isn't bank breaking on most projects. Often, homeowners are scared away from a product they really love because of a $5 increase in the price per square of a particular product. The total cost increase for the entire project could be as little as $100!Attachment Methods
vary from product to product. Foam, adhesive, screw, and nails are the most common forms of fastening the tile to the roof. Each method has distinct advantages - stop by one of our design centers for a full explanation of each.
Learn the Basics of Concrete Roof Tile
Next, you should be aware of several characteristics that are specific to concrete roof tile.
To get a general understanding of concrete roof tiles, we'd like to show you around our production facility and introduce the manufacturing process with our How It's Made video.
Next, have a look at our maintenance guide
to learn about what it takes to keep your roof in tip-top shape. Lastly, we'd like to say that a tile roof isn't for everyone. It should be understood that concrete tile is made from natural, raw ingredients that can vary from batch to batch. For many of us, this fact adds to the natural beauty of the product, but in our experience, we've learned that not everyone feels the same way. We recommend reviewing these documents on variability, efflorescence and scuff marks, often characteristics of all concrete tile products, not just those of Entegra.

PRICING
Hate browsing websites and not being able to find any information in regards to pricing? Yea, us too. We're breaking the industry-norm and going out on a limb to reveal this information; in return, we ask that you don't hold it against us. Call our Sales Staff for the latest pricing, as we're always competitive in the market. Here's an in-depth explanation of our pricing structure.
PRODUCT OFFERING
Standard Products:
Because of the high demand for these products, we keep them stocked in our yard, always ready for pick-up. Standard products represent our most popular tiles. The entire Standard Product offering is always displayed in the current year's Product Brochure. Each year, this offering includes around 120 different products.Custom Colors:
A small sampling of custom colors can be found sprinkled throughout our current year's brochure, but we are capable of producing nearly any color. Custom tiles are not stocked in our yard, and therefore have to be custom ordered for a specific project. Lead times usually run about 3-4 weeks, but we recommend calling for current estimated production dates.Designer Tile:
Designer Tile is a one-of-a-kind roofing plan for a very specific project. Designer Tile usually has to do with manipulating the shape of the tile or adding a particular texture. The sky is the limit - if you want your dog's paw print stamped in each tile, we'll find a way to do it!
Antique
is a secondary color that is randomly applied during production. Both the area covered and the amount of antique will vary from tile to tile. The result ranges from a soft contrast to a rich tone, enhancing the finished appearance on the roof.***It should be noted that we do not antique our trim tile as a standard procedure; however, we can customize trim on an individual basis.
Blends
are comprised of several individually colored tiles which are then arranged during installation to create a smooth blend on the roof. For instance, our Blazen Sky Blend is comprised of Cedar tiles, Indian Red tiles and Terra Cotta tiles. During installation, the tiles are intermixed, creating a soft and natural blend. See our blend offering here.Slurry
products are a gray or white tile that has a liquid concrete mixture applied to the surface during the manufacturing process. The result is a more vibrant colored tile. See our slurry offering here.
See Entegra Products First-Hand
We hope you'll consider our products and take the time to see their quality and beauty first-hand.
Samples:
Call our Sales Staff or place an order online to have samples of specific colors sent to your home. Samples of one of our standard products are free, but we do charge a small fee should you need a sample of a custom color that we don't currently have any inventory of. We recommend arranging a personal meeting with a local representative of our Sales Staff for a complementary showing of your choice of products. In addition, these industry experts are always happy to answer any questions you may have - whether that be in regards to color selection, installation procedures or even their favorite flavor of ice cream.Design Centers:
View a broad array of colors and blends, pick up literature and samples and even learn about the components of a safe and functional roof at our Design Centers. Walk-ins are welcome, but if you're looking for a personalized meeting or wanting to view specific colors, it's always best to let us know you're on your way. Currently, we offer a location on each coast of Florida, and we hope to have several other locations later this year.Okeechobee:
Our centralized manufacturing facility, as well as our administrative team, is located in Okeechobee, Florida. We always have products on display, as well as access to our stock of custom samples. In addition to viewing our products, if you can make it out to Okeechobee, we'd love to give you a plant tour and show you just how your roof tile will be made!Distributors:
We have a network of roofers, builders, and distributors located throughout the state, displaying our products. Find a display location near you, and give us a call so we can meet you there!Virtually:
Although you can't touch our products when viewed online, browse our Photo Gallery for a large sampling of completed projects. In addition, use our Installed Product Finder paired with Google Maps to see a street view of completed projects. If you like the looks of it online, drive by for a closer look!

Place Your Order
If you like what you see, it's time to place an order! We don't sell directly to homeowners, so if you don't currently have a roofing contractor, contact us and we would be happy to recommend one. Keep in mind our helpful tips when Hiring a Contractor.
One aspect of a new roof that many homeowners are unfamiliar with is the Florida Construction Lien Law. According to the law, those who work on your property or provide materials who are not paid-in-full have a right to enforce their claim for payment against your property. This claim is known as a construction lien. If your contractor fails to pay subcontractors or material suppliers, the people who are owed money may look to your property for payment (even if you have already paid your contractor in full!). Before you make payment to your roofer, request a document called a "Release of Lien" from each supplier and/or subcontractor. A "Release of Lien" is a written statement that removes your property from the threat of lien. It is imperative that you verify the suppliers and/or subcontractors have released their right to lien your property prior to making the final payment to your roofer - otherwise, YOU could end up paying for material and labor twice!
Consider Delivery, Load and Installation Options
After placing your order, you'll need to plan for the delivery, loading and installation of your tile. Entegra is a one-stop shop: not only do we manufacture the tile, we offer in-house shipping and roof loading. You are in no way obligated to use our services, but many customers choose the peace of mind associated with a one-man show. When you choose Entegra Delivery and Load, forget the logistics of moving your tile from our yard to your roof. We'll handle it from start to finish, safely and efficiently.
If you're building a new home, truck accessibility won't likely be an issue. If your project is a re-roof, sometimes it can be difficult to get to the roof. Although extra charges apply to projects with limited accessibility, there is never a building that is out of the question. Worst case scenario? We'll carry your tile, bundle by bundle, to where it needs to be.
Though some projects require the tile be delivered and loaded (the act of placing the tile on the roof) the same day, in most situations same day delivery and loading really isn't necessary. When you choose our delivery and load services, you can save on the charges by allowing your tile to sit on the ground for one night, giving us greater flexibility in our scheduling. It's a win-win: we are able to run more efficiently, and you reap the cost savings.
When your tile has shipped, don't leave your cars parked somewhere where they could potentially be blocked in if pallets of tile are delivered - we don't want you to be stuck in the garage if you have to get to work!
Complete Warranty, Snap a Photo & Enjoy!
After your tile has been ordered and installed, there are only three things left to do:
Complete your Warranty and send it to us. This provides documentation for future homeowners in the event that you sell your house and take your records.
Send us a photo. We like before and afters best, but we're always looking for more photos to add to our galleries. Each year (December 31st) we draw one entry and give away $250!
So there you have it. All that's left to do is to enjoy your new roof for decades to come!
