There are more than 5,000 manufacturing businesses in South Florida. These manufacturers are placed into four divisions based on the number of employees--1 to 50, 51 to 125, 126 to 200 and more than 200. Nominations are made within each division, and then judges select 50 companies to further evaluate through phone interviews and plant visits. Four finalists are chosen from each division, and finally one standout is selected. The process recognizes excellence, and all businesses fortunate to participate are better as a result of the process.

Entegra is a family owned business that has manufactured and delivered concrete roof tiles in Florida for almost 25 years. Entegra's state of the art plant, built in Okeechobee in 2006 to help replace tile damaged by the hurricanes, is one of the most modern tile plants in the world. The plant is capable of producing millions of high quality tiles per month. Entegra also delivers and loads their tile to the rooftop, allowing them to better meet the needs of customers.

"It is an honor to be recognized by our peers," says Mike Johnson, Entegra's President. "I am extremely proud of each employee for contributing to our success. We have great people and that has made us a great company."
